Great first taste but then wanders into complex malty, bananaistic, aftertaste that we found to be not the great. Good beer, but not as good as the price would demand.

Aroma: roasty, chocolate, full of soy sauce, licorice, oxygenation note. Appearance: Color is deep deep brown, little bit ruby, liquid is clear, head is minimal, brown. Taste: a lot of dark chocolate, roasty, licorice, cherry, plum ( like baltic porter-oxygenation note) sweet is light, bitter is medium to heavy, light to medium sour, umami. Palate: Body is light to medium, texture is smooth, creamy, slick. CO2 is medium to heavy, finish is bitter with roasty taste. Not bad, for this price i can get many more better beers from RIS style.

Amazing beer. Vintage nd. Deep black colour with rubins shades around the edge. Rich coffe, dark chocolate and dark fruits in the aroma. Low carbonation, medium to full bodied with a oily touch. The taste is very huge: coffee, chocolate, dark fruits in the aftertaste with a good balance between sweet and bitter. A little touch of alcohol but very well hidden. Great imperial stout, check it out if u can!

Bottle. Pours oily, inky black with large spongy chocolate colored head, chocolate aroma, low carbonation, slightly bitter chocolate taste, full body, long finish, faint burnt aftertaste. This is a real treat!

Cocoa and milk chocolate aroma from a black pour with about a finger of brown head. Cocoa up front followed by a roasty mid to back of the tongue with a sweet but booze finish.

Subtle coffee, subtle roasty, clings to the palate. Tiny bit of chocolate as it warms. It’s very well balanced.

This is awesome. Huge heavy full mouthfeel. Love it. Deep rich roasted sweet flavor which is balance nicely with a mild bitterness. Just flat out good.

Draft at the tasting room. Pours a jet black with a mocha head. Aroma is rich roasted malts, caramel, dark chocolate, vanilla beans, and doughnut. The taste is solid with dark chocolate, vanilla, roasted malts, slight caramel, and lactose. Almost like a malt milkshake with vanilla. Serious body, light carb. Chewy and good. One of the best oatmeal stouts out there.

Bottle, pours black with tan head. All the good things I expect from an oatmeal stout plus an unusual smoothness for a 60ibu beer. Chocolate, vanilla, oak and a nice roasted taste. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle to glass. Pours a deep brown to black color with a medium brown head. Aroma is roasted malts, burnt coffee, touch of cocoa. Flavor has a big burnt roasted malts bitterness. Huge mouthfeel, lingering roasted malts with some chocolate sweetness. Very tasty.
