draught@Erzbierschof - black beer under a solid creamy beige foam; nice lacework; robust and pure coffeish aroma, notes of ashes and nuts, velvety palate and medium-bodied; a light sweetness below, moderate bitterness; the finish is salty with more notes of coffee and roasted malts - very drinkable

21-MAY-2013, bottle @Ølbutikken with Ulkløbben. Clear but dark dark brown with off-white head. Roasted aroma with mostly coffee. Taste is roast, rubber and coffee. Medium body and carbonatio - but very smooth and "silky". Better than feared.

Bottle, pours dark black, aroma is roasty with some cafe. the coffee is nice and complements the roastiness well of the beer. It is nice and smooth and quite enjoyable

Pours almost black with a small, creamy, off-white film head. Aroma has coffee, chocolate, light nutty, toasted and some chestnuts. Medium carbonation, light and dry mouthfeel. Flavour is very dry, freshly ground coffee, light roasted. Sweet with some mild bitterness and a light milky end.

Tap at proof. Dark pour tan head dissipates quickly. Roast coffee. You can smell the porter character. Taste is medium to light body. Taste coffee hazelnut and caramel. Finishes slightly sour like a porter. Smooth easy to drink good flavor.

UPDATED: MAY 10, 2013 Draft at Stubbies in Gaineville. Pours black with small kahki head. Smells like roasted coffee, spicy earthiness -’d more coffee. Smooth velvety mouthfeel. Lots of coffee up front, bit of malt sweetness in the middle, ending with more coffee. Good porter, slightly thin.
