COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Beware! Beware! The Double Oatmeal Russian Imperial Stout will destroy your taste buds like no other. More hops and more malt than BORIS create a super deep roasted and full bodied flavor, making this the great, great grand daddy of all stout styles.

bottle @ Party Town / Florence KY --- Opaque black color, brown rim head, star field of lace. Aroma of toasted malt. Taste is thick toasted malt and toffee. It grows bigger before hitting a thin wall of hops and carbonation on the swallow. Alcohol joins at the finish. Big and bold, maybe complex, but this brew is mostly about the malt.

Thick, black and oily. Beautiful. However, not great depths of taste. This i delish, but maybe not worth the praise...

From a bomber. Poured a dark ruby black with a dark brown thick head reminiscent of melted ice cream. Tastes are molasses, dark cherries, toasted malt and anise. Nice balance with no overwhelming boozy flavor. Nice but there are better RIS's out there ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bomber bottle poured a black hue w/ a large dark brown head and sticky lacing. Moderate dark roast and boozy aromas. Initial flavor is bold sweet w/ a moderate bitter finish. Tastes are dark roast coffee, brown sugar, licorice, soy, dark breads, and dark chocolate. Full bodied, syrupy mouthfeel and a warm finish. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bomber. Rich roasted malt aroma with notes of molasses, dark chocolate and anise. Pours inky, oily black with a thin light brown head with no retention and minimal lacing. Starts with rich roasted malt flavor and dark chocolate. Finishes with molasses and anise with an extremely smooth ending with a little bit hop bitterness, but not a lot. Excellent stout!

Thick black pour. Motor oil like. Tan head with slight reddish tint while forming. Palate is absolutely HUGE. Super thick and heavy full body. I really enjoyed it. Deep roasty aroma with some hops and chocolate present. Flavor is deep and complex. Well balanced. Very fond of this beer.

Bottle shared with Brent and Goetz. Pours a dark brown to black with one finger of mocha head. Aroma is hoppy with some molasses and some roast. Flavor follows and is creamy smooth. Super nice beer.

Bottle in a trade with Phaleslu, thanks! It poured a black color with a tan head. The aroma was of roasted chocolate, coffee and a touch of vanilla. The taste was intense, nice oily mouthfeel, more chocolate and coffee with a nice roastiness and some light spiciness towards the finish.
