Pours a viscous, opaque black leaving a slight brown head that dissipates quickly. Dark fruit, coffee and bitter dark chocolate on nose. Taste of coffee, dark roast malt, bitter hops, bitter cacao, and slight hint of sourness. Overall an incredible beer that gives you more as it warns up.

Black burnt motor oil pour with dark tan head. Aroma is large coffee, dark chocolate, and abv. Sweet chocolate start with a coffee/malt bitter finish. A full bodied beer with smooth carbonation. very nice beer

on tap at CBC. Black colour with no head. Roasted, chocolate and coffee aromas. Roasted and bitter taste, with some dark chocolate and coffee.

at CBC2013. Black with a slightly tan head. Loads of roast going on, with coffee and ripe fruits. Long smooth finish slightly on the dry note. Lovely

Drought. Black-brown with chocolate color spongy head, chocolste aroma, slightly bitter chocolate taste, average carbonation, long finish. Very nice stout!

65cl bottle. Amazing one. Hoppy, coffee, cacao aromas. Quite bitter, smooth, creamy texture. Pours very dark, with nice vanishing tan head (maybe fades away too fast). Full bodied, soft carbonation. Taste is coffee, hoppy, some vanilla and caramel. Really well balanced and integrated flavours.

22 oz. bottle. Served in a snifter. Pours a jet black with a tan head. Quite literally, it looks like motor oil. Aromas of coffee and alcohol. Thick mouthfeel. Very forward roasted malt flavors. Hop presence is evident but not overpowering. Smooth finish. This is a beautiful Stout.
