COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Beware! Beware! The Double Oatmeal Russian Imperial Stout will destroy your taste buds like no other. More hops and more malt than BORIS create a super deep roasted and full bodied flavor, making this the great, great grand daddy of all stout styles.

Poured like an iodine oil spill, staining the glass yellow wherever it touched. Nose was loaded with roasty character, hints of coffee and chocolate. Taste was just over the top, hot with booze, and tons of huge clashing flavors, not one stuck out for me, the roasty qualities were so strong it almost bordered on a charred flavor, the chocolate was over the top dark bitter chocolate, it was just too much at once.

Bomber. Rich roasted malt aroma with notes of molasses, dark chocolate and anise. Pours inky, oily black with a thin light brown head with no retention and minimal lacing. Starts with rich roasted malt flavor and dark chocolate. Finishes with molasses and anise with an extremely smooth ending with a little bit hop bitterness, but not a lot. Excellent stout!

Thick black pour. Motor oil like. Tan head with slight reddish tint while forming. Palate is absolutely HUGE. Super thick and heavy full body. I really enjoyed it. Deep roasty aroma with some hops and chocolate present. Flavor is deep and complex. Well balanced. Very fond of this beer.

Bottle shared with Brent and Goetz. Pours a dark brown to black with one finger of mocha head. Aroma is hoppy with some molasses and some roast. Flavor follows and is creamy smooth. Super nice beer.

Bottle in a trade with Phaleslu, thanks! It poured a black color with a tan head. The aroma was of roasted chocolate, coffee and a touch of vanilla. The taste was intense, nice oily mouthfeel, more chocolate and coffee with a nice roastiness and some light spiciness towards the finish.

Burnt, thick, creamy, and waxy on the nose. Huge palate of treacle, ash, and something green. Delicious!

On tap @ Chmielarnia Marszalkowska. Pours pitch-black, great beige head. Aroma of sweet, milky chocolate. In taste it’s extremely smooth, and again: chocolate-y and milky. Medium roastiness. Full bodied. Very good.

Bottle to glass. Pours a thick pitch black color with a nice brown head. Aroma is a potent burnt roasted malts, coffee, chocolate. Same in the flavor. Giant mouthfeel with a lingering burnt roasted malts. This is a big beer! Definitely a sipper. Very nice. Would love to try the BA version.
