COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Special hoppy flavors and aromas are captured by adding freshly picked, undried hops during the harvest. These wet hops impart a character unlike other brews, that is quite unique and satisfying for those who love hops – the spice of beer. Smell the hop fields, smell the freshness.

22 oz. bottle via trade with Brigadier - Pours a clear amber color with a nice size off white head. Nice spotty lacing. Aroma is toasted malt and floral hops. Flavor is much of the same. Medium body. Finish is pretty mellow for a 2IPA. Bet this was nice when first released. A good beer. Thanks Nathan.

Bottle. Hazy deep golden with a medium white head. Hoppy aroma with lots of peach, citrus, grass and pine. Very nice. The flavour is lots of caramel, fruity hops, pine, grass and peach. I very nice IPA. How this is styled an APA is a mystery :)

Orange-amber color, small off-white head. Fresh hoppy, grassy and piney aroma with some yeastyness. Fresh grassy-hoppy flavor; a bit sweetish malty (glue?) with some ryeish notes. Balanced and fresh IPA.

Mid-deep orange. Fruity new world hop aroma, as expected. Slightlt citrussy, but not just cascade, some peachiness. Pleasant palate, reasonable carbonation. Certainly quite hoppy, but at least they’re fresh. A bit maltier than some, but clearly aimed at the hop contingent. Grapefruit not dominant, burps nicely. Not so bad compared to other hop bomps, not excessively sweet, or too alcoholic.

Bottle and served in my GI IPA tulip: Coppery amber with a small frothy head but good lace. The aroma has notes of grassy, herbal and slightly resiny hops, pale and crystal malts, slight soapy and medicinal vapours, and some peppery and salty esters. The taste is balanced hop bitterness and fruitiness backdropped by a sweet and grainy malt tone. Moderately hop spiced and astringent finish. The mouth feel is lively and sharp, the best part of this brew. While a nice beer, it is hardly memorable or a standout within the genre.

Hoppin frog raw hop - earthy leaf aroma. Some citrus too. Golden orange pour thin beige head. Rather subtle. Dry leafy and earthy. Sweet paler malts. Floral leafy but subtle all around and a little too sweet maybe. 6 3 7 3 14

Bottle, 660ml @ Olutravintola Pannuhuone, Kuopio, Finland Fresh, hoppy and fruity aroma. Smooth and fresh flavor, which isn’t as hoppy as the aroma suggests. Pretty dry and fruity palate. A good IPA without the usual overload of hops.

Bottle bought at the brewery. Poured a slightly hazy orangish color with a big head. Excellent perfumey (sp?), piney, citrusy hop aromas, with a bit of toasted malt. Smooth, hoppy, fresh flavor. The flavor of this is exceptional. Medium mouthfeel and lingering hop finish. This is an excellent beer, not done in any amount of excess, just a clean, fresh, hoppy pale ale.
