COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
There’s a place just south they call Frog’s Hollow, brewin’ pumpkin ale in Fall, and they only speak in whispers of the name. There’s a lady they say who has the secret, of spices picked just right. With a crying shout, she’ll knock it out, and hand you the Frog’s delight.

22 fl oz bottle. Pours clear and golden deep orange with a small off-white head. Aroma is light caramelish at first with a distinct ginger note following. Flavour starts sweet, followed by the ginger and on back of the tongue a more pronounced note of nutmeg. Integrated notes of cloves and cinnamon along the way. Slight building bite into the finish. Lasting spiced impression. Too much for my liking.

Bottle. Clear copper/orange with a small white head. Aroma is heavy on the spices - cinnamon, nutmeg, all spice, pumpkin, cloves. Flavor is a bit lighter than the aroma and balanced out with subtle sweetness. A bit thin in the body, alcohol is present.

Very special taste to this beer. Very numbing pumpkin spice flavor, which I like. But an alright pumpkin beer that got to drink anyway. This beer reminds of Christmas beer.

Quintessential and lovely pumpkin ale. Frothless pumpkin-colored pour. Requisite pumpkin and pumpkin-oriented spices tickle the nose. But the taste! Starts off with nutmeg, cinnamon, pumpkin, and spice flavors, but then yields to a deliciously sweet malty base, lingering on the tongue. Could be my favorite pumpkin ale. At the very least, The Frog can do no wrong by me. A road trip to Akron (Akron?!?) is clearly in order. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours copper color with a medium sized head. Aroma of fruits, caramel malts, spices, herbs and hops. Flavor of resiny hops, caramel malts, herbal and grassy notes and some some pumpkin too. A bit of a disappointment.

Very nice spicy aroma with a touch of sweaty funk. Fairly plain dark amber pour. The flavor is first rate for the style - with noticeable pumpkin, and I tasted cinnamon, clove, coriander, and orange peel (the actual blend is cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, allspice, and clove). It is light on the hops and finishes mellowly. Just the right amount of sweetness. This ranks very high among pumpkin brews imho.

Not being much of a fan in general of Seasonal Spice Beers...this is a fairly good entry. Pours with a thin offwhite head and amber color. a bit on the "Boozy" side, but hey...for a spiced up seasonal...pretty well done!

Bottle. Poured orange with a quick fizzy off-white head. Light aroma of pumpkin spices. The flavor found pumpkin, spice, and a malt backing. Medium body with a pumpkin aftertaste.

Bomber from Supermarket Liquors - Fort Collins. Nose is cloves, cinnamon, nutmeg, and pumpkin. Clear copper with a small beige head. Flavor is sweet pumpkin, white pepper, and lots of pumpkin pie spiciness.
