Pours a slightly hazy dark amber with a thick very light tan head. Aroma is cinnamon and nutmeg. Buttery sweet, toasted malt flavor along with some banana bread; caramel and maple syrup as well. Pretty decent holiday seasonal brew, as I enjoy it in August having bought it at 50% off clearance!

(Bottle) Red colour with frothy, beige head. Malty, spicy nose with notes of cinnamon, apple pie, gingerbread cake, orange peel, dried fruit, dried apricots and ginger. Malty, spicy taste with dried fruit, orange peel, cinnamon, ginger, apricots, gingerbread cake and a spicy bitterness in a finish with a touch of alcohol shining through. More than medium body, with a certain sweetness. Tasty and very spicy, with lots of cinnamon and ginger. Actually a bit too much spices to be perfectly balanced. Still quite nice.

Pours a dark red with a thin off white head, actually very Holiday. Aroma is sweet cinnamon, nutmeg, reminds me of a sweet spiced Christmas fruit cake. Taste same as aroma with some mild hops bitterness. Palate is a medium body with good carbonation. Finishes with sweet cinnamon, nutmeg, sweet spices of fruit cake, and maybe some brown sugar and a bit of nutty flavor on the end as it warms up. Overall fairly good drink

Aroma is very nicely spicy. Very typical mouthfeel for an American style ale. I can't think of a better way to describe it than saying it tastes like Christmas. Solid every year.

Botella de 65 cl en Llamas. 21 de septiembre de 2013. Bastante especiada con un cuerpo ligero - medio con 8.6 vol que norse notan mucho. Una navideña sin mucho más que decir.

On tap at Capone’s. Pours a Slightly orange amber color with a thin tan head. Aroma of cinnamon, nutmeg and caramel. Sweet caramel taste with cinnamon and other spice. Sprucy. A bit much on the spice for me.
