From a bottle on New Years Eve thanks to Matt! Pours a clear reddish amber. The aroma is potpourri. Taste is sweet with cinnamon spice and the mouthfeel is thick

Bottled from Systembolaget; bought dec-12. Brown with a small, tan head. Spicy aroma; cardemomme, cinnamon. Pretty much the same spiciness in the flavour. A bit like apple-pie with cinnamon.

Bottle. Dark copper with an off white head. Aroma is ginger and raisin breads. Taste follows suit, adds some additional spice and accentuates the raisin notes. Medium sticky palate with sufficient carb. Nice Xmas brew.

Omg this beer is amaze balls! It’s a Christmas dessert in a bottle. Bottle from Highland Ave. Package. Transparent brown with off white head. Smells of cinnamon and vanilla. Taste of cinnamon, sugar and vanilla. I loved it.

bottle from Bierkompass. Deep brown, beige head. Aroma of Christmas pudding. Full-bodied, quite sweet with lots of spices such as cinnamon, cardamom, clove, star anis... Good - like liquid Christmas Pudding!

Tasted from bottle. Pours a dark ruby amber color with off white head that quickly fades. Huge spice aroma. Lots of what seems to be all spice, nutmeg and cinnamon. Taste is also big on the spices same as the nose with a very balanced caramel malts sweetness and hop bitterness. Pretty complex for a Christmas ale. Medium bodied with a sticky and sweet mouthfeel. One of my favorite Xmas ales. If you like the spicer Xmas ales you'll definitely enjoy. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

oakbluff (413) - Winnipeg, Manitoba, CANADA - DEC 24, 2013
pours clear chestnut, min. head- nose is quite pungent from the spices. Definitely not a subtlely spiced beer with the nutmeg especially strong. taste- sweet molasses cookies, gingerbread and of course the nutmeg. Tasty enough but very cloying and best in small doses. Soft on the finish with carbonation on the low side. Not boozy at all but the sweetness still distracts.
