Bomber. Pours "gulden" with no head (could be someone used jetdry). Very faint aroma of sweet malt and bready yeast. Sweet upfront and nice hidden hop in the back. Tastes of pineapple, banana, pumpkin spice, slight anise, and cleaning hop presence picks up later in bottle. Nice think mouthfeel becomes a little sticky. Small amount of carbonation, reminds me of drinking apple juice. Alcohol taste is there when searched for. A nice warming feeling reminds me of whiskey, this might be good for a soar throat. Very enjoyable brew, nicely complex flavor. Would have preferred more aroma and slightly less syrupy thickness.

Oct 5, 2008 Thick cloudy straw yellow color with no head. Strong aroma of spice, apple, and yeast. Taste was almost overpowering with spice, yeast, apple, and some alcohol.

Sep 20, 2008 22oz bottle thanks to the beer goddess. great aroma, nice, spicy, sweet. very much belgium. good lacing. the flavor was tasty. loved the fruitiness of it. no real alcohol burn at all. i would drink another one of these.

does not count  Sep 11, 2008 Upon the pour, this beer produced almost no head. What little there was quickly dissipated, not surprising for its light carbonation and high alcohol content. Amber to ruby ruby in color. Sweet, floral and fruity on the nose, it begged to be tasted. Upon the taste, I as amazed by the balance of alcohol versus malt. No sharp edges to be found here. Medium of body, but leaves the mouth clean after the swallow with just lingering caramel, spice, dried fig and yeast notes. Nice long finish and enough alcohol to warm the nose after just a few sips. I’ll save one of these 22 oz. bombers for a cold winters night!
