4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20
Poured from a bomber into a brandy snifter. Appearance is pale copper with a sticky, white head of foam. Aroma is dank pine needles with citrus orange peel jumping out every once in awhile. Super bitter, but I don’t think Id have it any other way. After trying to find the IBU count somewhere online, and no success achieved, I think its probably best I don’t know. The bitterness is almost enough to make your teeth sore. I definitely think some of the enamel has been eaten away. Shit...!

Nice flavor and presentation. Good carbonation and clarity of a bright rusty orange color. Great taste and mouthfeel.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
651 ml. bottle. Pours a medium, well retained, tiny bubbled, ivory head, with extensive lacing, over a clear dark amber (SRM 15) body.....nose is pine, resin, grapefruit peel, light toasted malts with cereal, no esters, balance to the hops....taste is sweet with toffee/caramel notes to start, then pine, resin, lighter citrus, floral notes, then heavy lingering bitter tones, no esters, balance very much to the hops.....mouth feel, heavy of medium body, slightly sticky, alcohol warmth present, moderately astringent, carbonation creates a creamy mouthful. The hops are in ascendancy in this beer, and there is only moderate malts to respond. It is difficult to balance beers such as this because the malts become almost toxically sweet as they are amped up. (Taste Dogfish Head 120 minute.) As it warms the malts arrive somewhat more and create more balance. It will be interesting to see if the Triple IPA becomes a separate style. BJCP 9/3/15/4/7

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
Pours hazy amber with a sandy head. The aroma is perfumey pungent and sweet hops. The flavor brings a boatload of hops covering any resemblance of malts at first, then sweet malts and amber, and then huge hop bitterness and sweetness blended at the end.

3.9 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pours cloudy dark orange amber with low off-white head. Aroma of resin, grapefruit, mango, peach, pine cones, light caramel and vanilla, a seriously rich and potent nose! Taste is hop intense bitter, slightly medicinal, with long heavy bitter finish. Light to medium body with soft carbonation. Looks and smells great, taste is actually the weak link with this one.

4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 18/20
Pours orange with white head and no lacing. Aroma of citrus and tropical fruit hops. Taste is the same with a pine hops, malty sweetness and alcohol burn. This is a huge beer.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Well, more fine work from the boys at Hoppin’ Frog. Once again if anyone from the brewery reads this let me know and I’ll get your lovely beer sold in my town. Poured a lightly hazy orange colour with a thin to medium off white head. Aroma is citrus hops, caramel. Flavour is lovely juicy hops, caramel, toffee, grapefruit, peach, orange. Mildly carbonated. A American IPA no doubt. Loved it.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle, Beer Moth, Manchester. Poured a vivid dark orange colour with a decent white head. Resinous hop laden beak with sweet malt and citrus notes. Similar traits unfolded in the flavour which was sweetish with a heavy dose of rich hoppy goodness alongside some tropical fruits. Fullish with some robust bitterness that got the juices flowing. Quality.

3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
Eye: copper/brown, hazy, enormous head
Nose: pine, resin, some citrusy notes, some malty-yeasty notes as well
Mouth: far too hoppy, lingering bitterness from the beginning till the end, some caramel notes and some alcohol behind
Could be great but it is completely unbalanced. This beer is mainly piney hop extract.
