A black beer with a weak and light brown head. Aroma of roastiness, coffee, fruits and some pine. Taste of liquirice, some pine needles, roastiness and coffee, nice bitterness. Medium bodied, low carbonation, slippery and nice to drink. Not very fresh bottle. Balanced, liquirice Black IPA, enjoyable.

Thanks to 5000 for sending me this bottle. Pours a black color with a tan head. The aroma is full of roasted malt with some resinous pine from the hops. The flavor is more of the same. I get some pine, roasted malt and chocolate malt. Creamy mouthfeel and medium carbonation.

Opaque black beer, good sized pale tan head. Piney hop nose. Smooth palate, slightly viscous. Nice fine carbonation. Smooth but pretty skunky hops, fair bit of pine too. Smooth mild dark malt, a little cream. No roast or bitterness. Finishes smooth and piney. Nice sumptuous Black IPA - just a bit much with the skunk.
