Bottle purchased and consumed at RIBCO, pours black with a light brown head and sticky lacing in the glass, the aroma has a nice hop front end with some spice and chocolate mixed in as well, the flavor has a nice chocolate backing to the hops and citrus, not bad.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
first bottle of the day, picnic table .. . pours a deep brown black .. . mild foam lacing, the head was pretty good .. . some out of place bitterness, even for a black ipa.. . weak mouth, not sure whats up with this but not that enjoyable .. . . it’s arguably, like, an airplane throwing up.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Only wish this was fresher. Bottle from the brewery purchased about 6 weeks ago. No date. Clean grassy aroma. Dark pour with little white head. Mouthfeel is very light and crisp. Easily drinkable. Taste is cappuccino, mint, grass, lemon, and green grapes. Very good this is. Only wish it was fresher and it could be great.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle, 22oz. It pours a dark brown body, almost clear, and topped by a dense, finger-thick beige head. Roasted nose with pine cones, some licorice and a lightly spiced, peppery touch. The flavor has a nice bitterness and the same spices touch found in the aroma, as well as roasted malts as a backdrop for the piney, bitter hoppyness. Full body with some warmth. Some roasted malts, but mostly bitterness in the end. A nice one indeed, tasteful and sort of easy drinkable. 121005
