light yellow head. straw-yellow slight orange colour. smells like a typical belgian triple (no surprise), alcohol smell and something like a barn-yard. taste like triple (still no surprise), taste of old matured hops and alcohol. medium mouthfeel and soft carbonation. i expected more IPA-character in this beer. bottle 65 cl @ cata cervezorama

65 cl bottle @ home. Pours hazy golden amber with some sediment and an off-white head that leaves quite a bit of lacing. Aroma is citrus, peach, yeast, and spices. Flavour is much like the aroma – with a dry finish.

Bomber->SA. Copper with medium white head. Aroma: funky yeast, citrus and floral hops. Taste: sweet, hops over yeast. Good, but a little off balance.

From a bomber w no date into a Duvel tulip. Pours a shining blonde with a good amount of head which dissipates into nothing. Citrus and Funk aroma. Mouthfeel is pretty light but mildly greasy. Taste is strong hops, strong Belgian and strongish alcohol. Over the top which is typical for hoppin frog. Decent but not great. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Nocturne (391) - Cheshire, ENGLAND - MAR 31, 2013
650ml bottle. Golden orange with a lasting white head. Smells like it’s going to be quite sweet and malty, with some nice white grape and berry fruit notes thrown in too. Sweet caramel malts up front on the tongue with an interesting and evolving spiciness, or something akin to that, as it goes down. It doesn’t strike me as exactly Belgian in its character but it’s pretty nice either way. The hops must have receded dramatically but what’s left is decent stuff.

Cybercat (2519) - Georgia, USA - MAR 20, 2013
Pours a beautiful golden amber with a thick, pale golden tan head and lots of bubbles rising within. Robust aroma has yeasty, hoppy, fruity and subtle woody notes. Hearty flavor fills every nook and cranny in the palate with woody hop, fruity and malty tones plus yeasty, citrus and even herbal underpinnings. Firm, smooth texture is quite fizzy and lively. Hop to your package store or bar - you’ll abbey glad you monk one!
