American hops dominate this Rye IPA, creating an assertive citrus and passion fruit character. An old-world flavor from rye malt adds the perfect compliment to Goose Juice’s big, satisfying hop flavor and aroma. Originally home-brewed by our beloved brewer Goose, its wonderful combination of flavors inspired us to brew this specialty IPA.

Aroma: Fresh, floral, citrusy, remniscent of vegetables (celery, for instance). So good. Mouthfeel: A substantial body with creamy texture. Taste: Bitter flavor. Palate is tropical fruit and breadlike malt, all in good interplay. Finish: Lingering bitter finish. Overall: A great, (Relatively) balaced ale that strays from the usual.

Bottle:   Dirty caramel, orangish, large pillowy off-white head, nice lacing.   Bright floral and citrusy nose.   Soft Rye as well.   Smells great!   Very smooth on the tongue, citrusy, soft tropical fruit.   Not brash, biting, or bitter in any way.   Well, I supposed it is a little bitter.   Has a bunch of sweetness and a great malt body to balance this out.   Great stuff!   As it warms it becomes a bit dank on the nose.   Body and mouthfeel are full to moderate.   Finishes clean, citrusy, hoppy, somewhat fruity, and very very JUICY!
