3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
So Draught 55 a bar i frequent has a once a month baby brunch in back room so took wife and sone for food, kids music, and I had some brew perfect. This is hazy orange pour nose of tropical fruit and rye. Tastes of rye, perfume, pine, grapefruit, dusty hops, light caramel, and honey. Decent mouthfeel tasty brew but lacks some punch of excitement.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
22 oz bottle First beer of Christmas 2014. It is a good one. I shared with my son. The IPA poured a cloudy amber color with frothy off white head and lacing. You detect citrus and pine in the aroma. The ale had a medium body and average carbonation. I did notice the rye at the finish. The pine resin does provide a dry clean finish. This is a great way to start the 12 beers of Christmas 2014.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20
Big bottle, served in teku. Pours deep orange, amber, a little bit hazy with large and thick head. Aroma is predominantly citrus, grapefruit, some maltiness, a hint of rye. Its much more intensive after shaking a glass. Taste is really sweet in the beginning and then mildly bitter, its perfectly balanced, however, a little bit harsh hoppiness in the finish, but its not too disturbing. It gives you a very pleasant mouthfeel, perfectly carbonated. Low drinkability though, seems quite heavy. Nevertheless, its a great IPA from great brewery. Worth every single penny.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle from Whole Foods on P street. Dark golden color, modest head, nice balance and the rye is subtle but gives it a good bite as well.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pours a clear orange with a huge off-white head. Aroma of rye, fruit and citrus hops. Flavor of fruit, some rye, and very little citrus hops. Easy to drink and way sweeter than what I was expecting.

Bue en bouteille. Exceptionnelle ! Probablement la meilleur IPA que j’aie bue. Explosion de saveurs tout au long de la dégustation. Fruits jaunes, houblons. Equilibre parfait.

4.1 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
22 oz. bottle from Total Wine, Chesapeake, VA. Dark orange pour with a huge, frothy off-white head. Aroma of tangerine, pineapple, and passion fruit. The taste is sweeter than most IPA’s (likely due to the rye) but that does not diminish the bold juicy citrus and floral hop flavors. Mild lingering bitterness on the palate. This is a rye IPA done right; great beer!
