COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
American hops dominate this Rye IPA, creating an assertive citrus and passion fruit character. An old-world flavor from rye malt adds the perfect compliment to Goose Juice’s big, satisfying hop flavor and aroma. Originally home-brewed by our beloved brewer Goose, its wonderful combination of flavors inspired us to brew this specialty IPA.

Tap @ Beer Temple (taster size). Orange/light amber color, rather clear. Off white creamy head. Aroma’s: resin, citrus, herbal hops, light maltiness. Rye (caramel) comes through retronasal with much less resin, herbs, light acidity. Flavor is moderate sweet (caramellsih, clearly rye), moderate bitter. Medium bodied. Finishes herbal/flowery and lasting bitter. Nice!

Bottle from Hop City. Pours a slightly hazy amber with a nice layer of off white head. Aroma of floral hops, citrus, and grain. Taste really has a nice rye balance with the bitterness of the hops.

This is an underwhelming rye, lacking of herbal flavors I have come to expect of the style. It was pungent, almost tart from the citrusy bitter base. Lemony nose and dark golden In color, this beer kept a tiny white head, but substantial lacing the entire pint.
