American hops dominate this Rye IPA, creating an assertive citrus and passion fruit character. An old-world flavor from rye malt adds the perfect compliment to Goose Juice’s big, satisfying hop flavor and aroma. Originally home-brewed by our beloved brewer Goose, its wonderful combination of flavors inspired us to brew this specialty IPA.

This is an underwhelming rye, lacking of herbal flavors I have come to expect of the style. It was pungent, almost tart from the citrusy bitter base. Lemony nose and dark golden In color, this beer kept a tiny white head, but substantial lacing the entire pint.

From a bomber. Pours hazy orange with lots of particles floating around and a very thick, foamy head. Tastes nutty, like sweet, sugary hops, orange. Light bitterness. Light/medium body and carbonation. Smells like sweet orange, lime, hops, and grassy grains.

On tap at Schouskjelleren, december 3rd 2013. Hazy golden body, frothy offwhite head. Aroma is piny and spicy, with light rye and fruit notes. Taste is pretty hoppy, pine and citrus fruits dominating, with a mild and pleasant rye presence, allowing the soft bitterness to shine through. Sweet fruity finish. Very nice!
