COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
American hops dominate this Rye IPA, creating an assertive citrus and passion fruit character. An old-world flavor from rye malt adds the perfect compliment to Goose Juice’s big, satisfying hop flavor and aroma. Originally home-brewed by our beloved brewer Goose, its wonderful combination of flavors inspired us to brew this specialty IPA.

bhensonb (11532) - Woodland, California, USA - MAR 3, 2014
Bomber from Knightly in Orlando, FL. Pours amber gold with a foamy off-white head. Aroma of light stone fruit and rye spice. Med body or more. Flavor is a strong shock of rye with light stone fruits following. It’s hoppy and rye, and the rye seems to add spicy bitter, but there’s not complete dryness. Quite a beer.

marcus (6787) - Sacramento, California, USA - MAR 3, 2014
Bottle shared by bhensonb. Pours orange copper with a thick foamt off-white head and a delicate floral aroma. There is a bitter rye flavor that finishes sweet and fruity. This is an unusual IPA in that there is a more complex flavor than most. Very tasty.

Appearance: Slightly hazy amber with 3 finger thick ivory head. Aroma: Lychee, mango, grapefruit, musk, marmalade, note of passion fruit, rye, leaves, tinned apricots in syrup. Taste: Medium bitter and sweetness with low sourness. Palate: Thick grainy texture, light quite airy body, average/prickly carbonation, lingering astringent fruity, rye, malty, peppery finish. Comments: Very good and glass lace. The rye comes out in the flavour over a bit of time.

Klasse!

maneliquor (3285) - Perth, AUSTRALIA - JAN 30, 2014
Tap at CBC Clerkenwell. Pours clear amber with a thick white head. Nose is quite spice driven with pineapple and lychee. Very sweet fruits mingle with heavy spice and resinous toffee. Very spritzy carbonation - almost a little too much. Seems a touch tired. Solid

Flavors of rye, earthiness, grapefruit zest and light pine with a smooth dry bitter lingering earthy grapefruit finish.

22oz bottle on sale for 5.99. Deepish orange-tan body, slightly hazy with a few floaties. Steady, soapy off-white head. Pretty balanced, this is a pretty enjoyable beer. Toasty gingerbread, smooth caramel, orange pine. Medium to full bodied, very easy to drink despite the strength. Really manages the rye well, melding in with the malts quite well. The hops are never biting or bitter, just a steady orange marmalade sweetness, maybe a hint of black pepper. Good beer.

Ferris (5007) - Burnaby, British Columbia, CANADA - NOV 23, 2013
Bottle - Tropical fruit, mandarin and citrus with a big malt backbone. Clear orange with a rich beige head. Medicinal, big bitterness and one sided without any balance or hop flavors coming through.
