COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Extremely rich and malty German-style lager, so intense that it’s named after our founder! Karminator Doppelbock has a traditional double-bock flavor, brewed with an over-abundance of the absolute highest quality imported Munich malt to create an irresistible toasted barley flavor, with hints of caramel & toffee. Alot of care, time, and know-how has gone into creating this complex, memorable, and majestic lager.

Bottled. Pours clear and deep amber with an average, off-white head. Aroma of caramel, wood and nutty notes. Sweet flavor that ends up more dry andslightly bitter. Medium bodied, oily texture and soft carb. A very nice Bock.

On tap. Dark copper color with thin white head. Caramel and fruity flavor. Sweeter than German versions. A lite too sweet for me, but good.

From the bottle share at Dark Lord Day 2014. Into my tasting glass this went rich brown with a light tan had. Nose of roasted malts, some fruit, obvious nuts and floral hops. Medium to bold in body with a smooth creamy mouth feel. Flavor is rich and the roasted malts with the nuts make this very delicious. Light bitter finish. Solid beer.

Bottle@Home. Sweet malts, toffee and raisin aroma. Gusher, brown, beige head, fair lace. Very very sweet, very malty, light bitter, butterscotch. Oily and sticky mouth feel. If this would have fermented a bit longer it might have been nice. Now it’s just sweetness.

On tap at Copenhagen Beer Celebration 2014. Dominated by caramel and vague sweet fruits. Unfortunately with so many powerful beers around this one kinda faded out.
