COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Extremely rich and malty German-style lager, so intense that it’s named after our founder! Karminator Doppelbock has a traditional double-bock flavor, brewed with an over-abundance of the absolute highest quality imported Munich malt to create an irresistible toasted barley flavor, with hints of caramel & toffee. Alot of care, time, and know-how has gone into creating this complex, memorable, and majestic lager.

0,65 l bottle, courtesy of Ogreface.
Deep brown-ruby appearance with a small creamy tan head. So, this beer is sweet. Both in aroma and flavor. Honey, caramel and molasses, some herbs, honey and molasses, caramel and molasses, honey and malt, caramel and honeay, molasses. Not my style, not my beer, too sweet for me but not bad according to the style.

Pour out of 22 oz bottle, dark reddish pour with thin to no head, aroma brought notes of dark fruit, caramel, toffee, nice oaky, spice notes, slight vanilla, earth, slight honey as well. Taste is a mix of dark fruit, lots of rich caramel, toffee, almost sherry like notes into some vanilla, honey, slight earthy, spicy notes, finishing very sweet. This is a very tasty, but all malt forward brew.

Bomber thanks to Dan. Pours a deep caramel color with a small white head, goes down to nothing. A big nose of Munich and toffee. The flavor is caramel, floral hops, some sweet banana esters, maybe a bit of blueberry. Quite fruity. A nice Bock.

Strong sweetness, with mandarin, some bubble gun, cotton candy. Still drinkable. In small quantities.

Bottle, shared with Parksy, sent to me by b3shine-- thanks Beau! Everything I love in this style: thick, breadcrusty malts, sweet toffee, burnt sugars. Slightly salty finish. Beautiful!

Pours brown with almost no foam. Smells weird. Tastes intense with some spices. Not so well balances beer. Can feel alchohol.

This poured a hazy lighter brown with a small beige head. Aroma was of burnt sugar, caramel and dark fruits. Flavor was similar, grassy hops, sweet caramel, alcohol and some fig. Ok.

Pours reddish with no foam and lasing. Aroma of pure sweet caramel-berries, fruity, estery with soft not sharp alcohol pungent presence and soft toasted, toffee touch. Taste is sweet with some light bitter mix from hopping and toasted malt at the end. Overall flavor - like sharp scotch ale - sharpness from alcohol, fruity complexity from malt mix and....ale yeast. To me this definitely is NOT doppelbock, more scotch ale. Palate - medium to full body, thick, oily texture, flat carbonation, sweet, caramel finish, a bit sour aftertaste. Pleasant brew but why this brew is in this category - is a big question to me. Doppelbock with ale yeast!?!
