Smooth and sweet in the start and a little more bitter afyer taster. Unlike being an ipa, the bitterness is easily managable and enjoyable at the same time.

Golden hazy orange, thick white head. Aroma of flowers, malt. Taste sweet with honey and a lovely long finish, but not too bitter.

Bottle from the brewery. Was a disappointment. Seems like the brewery is selling old bottles. Pours a clear reddish orange. Some fruity hop aroma but caramel an alcohol dominate. Some hop bitterness but really just a drain pour.

Shared with and courtesy of Longshot, co-member of the worst softball team in the history of southeastern Wisconsin. Copper with a medium wispy off-white crown. Aroma is dank and citrusy with caramel, mild pine and some floral notes lurking in the background. Taste is nice with floral hops, citrus, caramel, light woodiness and a mild bitter finish.

Bready caramel, citrus, and pine hop bitterness in the aroma. Flavor starts big and bitter, with underlying bread and dark fruit flavors, almost like a Belgian ale. Finish is also big and bitter, with some peppery spice and a fair amount of drying alcohol. Really, really good, but not for the squeamish.

Heavy hops aroma. The taste is also of course much hops but released soon to become very dry. What I did not like at all. Long aftertaste too. I liked this beer anyway. But it could have been any better.

9/25/2010. 22 oz. bottle. Pours light amber color with an off white head. Strong floral aromas with pine, citrus. Caramel flavors with plenty of hops. Very nice balance and the alcohol is not overwhelming. Well made.
