Dark, robust and silky-smooth, with many flavors of roasted, toasted and caramel malts. Porter is an old-world beer style, so popular that it helped start the industrial revolution. Taste the history.

Black with a thick, tan, lasting, lacy, frothy head. Smells of liquorish, coffee, roast, sweet malt, red berries, and a light freshness. Medium smooth thin, to oily body. Tastes of sweet berries, balanced against the coffee roast and a bit of ash. A bit thinish and flavourful but needs more roast.

Aptly named beer. The mouthfeel is one of the best aspects of this already very nice, dark, rich beer. Chocolatey, very roasty, and smooth.

A: Strong aroma. Roasty. Hint of coffee. A touch of acidity. very nice. A: Looks fine. Brown with tan head. Good lacing. T: Very smooth taste. Verrry smooth. Hits with chocolate and roasty coffee. A little watery acidity in the middle. Finish is smooth and chocolatey. P: A little watery. Solid though Overall this is a very good porter. Lots of great roasty chocolate. The watery hit in the middle takes something away but otherwise a great blend of flavors.
