Dark, robust and silky-smooth, with many flavors of roasted, toasted and caramel malts. Porter is an old-world beer style, so popular that it helped start the industrial revolution. Taste the history.

Black with a small light brown head. Big aroma of chocolate, bready and wort-ish malt, caramel, figs. Sweet, mostly chocolate flavour, with a hint of roast in the finish. Silky smooth and silky sweet and slightly boring as such.

Bottle thanks to Bu11zeye. Pours black with minimal tan head. Nice aroma of dark roast with slight chocolate. Flavor has lots of cereal with nice chocolate toasty taste. Mouthfeel is light-medium body with high carbonation...ood stuff, would taste good for breakfast.

This was a nice find in a store I found through ratebeer in Columbus. Very dark with a thick small bubble head and some lacing was left. Raspberry, roasted malt, chocolate and coffee in the nose. Smooth, yes, silky, but somewhat oily mouthfeel. Neutral finish, not much of an aftertaste. Very very nice.

Thanks to Rogueone for the bottle! Dark brown pour with airy brown head and drippy lace. Cream, roast, and chocolate on the nose. Big coffee flavor upfront, but for me the most satisfying aspect of this beer is the finish. Lingering chocolate milk finish.

Bottlee thanks to bu11zeye. Pours with hardly any head and a very black body. Aroma has lots of coffee, vanilla, marshmellow and a very pronounced grainy, cereal element. Taste is a ton of cereal, chocolate, and some corn. Syrupy mouthfeel.

Bottle from Capone’s. Pours very deep blacish with 1-finger tan head. Nose is dark patent malt, roasty chocoff, fig, oaty ovaltine. Tastes rich, very smooth, almost nitrogenated, with a dark malt, cacao, mild coffee, molasses, and some ruaxhy notes. The malt takes top billhere, with the pleasant cacao, molasses, and melted Hershey bar without the butryric aroma. Very smooth, rich, balanced, and enjoyable. Quaff this! Know that!

Courtesy of Sliffy et al in a visit to COlumbus. Pour dark like a porter, smells roasty without being overthe top. Very smooth drinking porter. Drying aftertaste.
