Dark, robust and silky-smooth, with many flavors of roasted, toasted and caramel malts. Porter is an old-world beer style, so popular that it helped start the industrial revolution. Taste the history.

A decent, easy drinking with no error Porter. Aroma is not intensive but then the beer is still cold. Mostly milk chocolate, orange and a bit of toffee. Taste is mellow sweet and milky. A good beer to drink before noon. Cheers.

22oz bottle 4/19/15 (Courtesy of TerryR)-38° in English Pint-Pours black with a small tan head. Aroma of roasted malt, chocolate, coffee, and vanilla. Taste of the same with more chocolate and malt on the back end along with a creamy silky aspect. This medium bodied brew is well balanced and hits the spot on a chilly evening. One of the better porters

Poured into a teku showing big black and oily with practically no foam. The nose shows some pungent alcohol and a very faint hints of roasted but somewhat sweet (toffee/caramel) malts. The palate is very light bodied with high but unnoticeable carbonation. As the name suggests, it is very smooth and silky. Not a lot of flavor though. Very faint roasted malts with a very slight adzuki/red bean sweetness. Texture-wise it’s great but not a lot of flavor.
