The aroma is sweet malty with medium notes of roasted malt, and so is the flavor, leading to a dry roasted finish. Aroma of metal, yeast, burned malt and dried fruit. Medium body wirh both dried and overripe fruit accents and some burned malt. Palate is blackberryish with hints of chocolate. Soft of thin in the end but the flavour is nice. sk8viking (6070), Copenhagen, Denmark Aug 6, 2008 Bottle. A deep red, almost black beer with a big beige head. The aroma and taste is dusty and of roasted malt/coffee/chocolate, some rye bread and dark fruits. Aroma is moderately sweet, bittersweet chocolate, some roast, light cinnamon, alcohol/acetone. Taste is medium sweet, roast, chocolate, light caramel, coffee, faint cinnamon. Fairly smooth medium body.
