Commercial Description:
Dark, robust and silky-smooth, with many flavors of roasted, toasted and caramel malts. Porter is an old-world beer style, so popular that it helped start the industrial revolution. Taste the history.

Bomber at DLD. Poured clear, deep brown with a nice cap of dark beige head. The aroma picked up deep roasted chocolate and a little molasses upfront with a touch of tar not far behind.. got sweeter with warmth and picked up some cola. The flavor had a medium roast to it with dark chocolates and light coffee bitterness.. toasted black patent malts at the back with a nice sweet, clean, roasted finish.. tasty! Medium-bodied on the palate with good roast and complimentary sweetness.. well done!

22 oz. bottle via trade with Brigadier - Pours a clear brown color with a one and a half finger thick tan head. Very little lacing. Aroma is light chocolate, light esters, and a touch of soapiness. Flavor is roasted malt with a touch of chocolate and coffee. Medium body. Slight roasty aftertaste. A pretty good beer. Thanks Nathan.

Pours a barely transparent dark mahogany with a thin-lacing light tan head. Aroma of sweet dark caramel malt and chocolate covered cherries with a touch of roasty malts and raisins. Body starts with a toasty dark caramely maltiness and good roasty dark chocolate flavor. Finishes smooth and bittersweet with a good dark chocolate finish. A nice porter.
