COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Dark, robust and silky-smooth, with many flavors of roasted, toasted and caramel malts. Porter is an old-world beer style, so popular that it helped start the industrial revolution. Taste the history.

Shared bottle @ Cardinal. Pours black with a small tan head. Rich aromas of dark chocolate, toffee, nice roasted malt and licorice. Smooth to drink! Notes of chocolate, sweet licorice and some leather. Can’t go wrong with Hoppin’ Frog!

Fantastic caramel and chocolate nutty finish. I keep this beer around and use it to braise my ribs. Best porter I have found for cooking with.

Nice dark coffee brown with a short lived head. It smells of roasted coco beans. Nice roasted taste with a mild bitter accent.

Bottled, pour is dark black. aroma is a bit weak. Taste is the best taste in a porter I have tasted. It is fairly strong of coffee and also some chocolate flavors, backed with those dark roasty malts. The beer finishes with what is a very smooth silky finish, Very enjoyable beer

650ml bottle from Cotteridge Wines. This poured almost black with a good sized brown head which diminished quite quickly.Aromas of chocolate malts and dark chocolate.Lovely smooth flavour of roast malt and chocolate with hints of coffee and toffee.Last part of the bottle and on warming a little a lovely blend of caramel and chocolate.Very satisfying and enjoyable.
