Roasted dark malts to the nose. Bittersweet flavours of anise, dark malts, sweet cocoa and some citrus hints. Very smooth, silky and gentle palate. Medium bodied (shared with Eva, hotel room, Copenhagen 19.09.2008).

The beer’s description pretty much sums it up... Dark blackish brown. Medium to large frothy light brown head, lasting. Aroma is milk chocolate, roasty, and a sort of earthy dustiness, slightly sweet. Medium body, thin, clean silky mouthfeel. Roasty, toasty, coffee in flavor. Dry bitterness. Roasty coffee finish.

Refrigerated brown bomber poured into a English pint. Pours black with huge light brown head. Aroma is dark chocolate, nice lacing, medium body, silky texture, and medium carbonation. Taste is nice chocolate and some espresso. Great porter.

Bomber->stem. Black with medium tan head. Aroma: subdued malt and chocolate; sweet. Taste: roasted malt, coffee, chocolate. Watery and metallic. Disappointing.

Bottle. Aroma is bourbon, roasted malts, coffee, chocolate and blueberries. The alcohol in the aroma is a bit disturbing. Mouthfeel is light and somewhat leathery. Flavor is roasted malts, chocolate, coffee and dark malty chocolate fruits. Decent ale with quite nice aroma!

Deep dark almost black ruby with medium beige head. Lacing
Aroma.. roasted caramel malts, coffee, chocolate, hops, kinda dark fruits
Quite sweet with long smooth finish.
Very nice and decent brew.

Pours almost black with reddish tone, browny foam. Flavor - sweet malty backbone, coffee, caramel and something like candies from condensed milk, a bit roast and dark berries. On nose a bit like stale brew or old ladies mattress, but that make it even better. Mild dry mouthfeel, above average body. Liked.

22oz bottle .. . pours a very dark brown black .. . medium head, spots of think lacing .. . mouth feel fits the name .. . light dark malts and a bit of cooking chocolate .. . decent porter .. . . look at him chow down!!
