22oz bottle. Small white head atop hazy apple juice body. Aroma is moderately sweet, strawberry/blueberry, light raspberry. Taste is moderately sweet, strawberry, some blueberry, raspberry. Light-medium body. Quite fruity with little else.

Bottle shared by shigadeyo. Poured clear reddish amber color with an average fizzy white head that diminished slowly with fair lacing. Moderate berry tart citrus aroma. Medium body with a sticky texture. Medium sweet berry flavor with medium to heavy sweet finish of short duration. This beer did not meet my expectations.

22oz bottle acquired in trade with ogglethorp (thanks!). Poured a lighter yellow color with a large sized white head. Aromas of berry-liciousness and a little fruity. Tastes of the same with some wheaty/graininess. Berries definitely dominate. Sweet. Like drinking a sweet berry candy. You have to be in the mood for this one!

Bottle thanks to miketd: Pours a transparent golden with a thin ring of spotty white head. Nice aroma of fresh strawberries and blueberries. Body starts about average with some mild fructose sweetness and light grainy maltiness before a dull, candy-like finish. Needs more body and balance, but has some decent fruit character.

Thanks the the Ohio guys for this! Poured medium golden with a rather nice cap of off-white head. The aroma picked up a lovely dose of raspberry preserves and strawberry over some fruity meat and pale malts.. I really dug the aroma here. The flavor had pale malts and berry meat at the core with raspberry preserves and seeds surrounding.. balance wasn’t really there, but the components were OK. Lighter-bodied on the palate with relatively fresh berry character.. tacky around the edges. Not a very good beer, but drinkable.

Pours straw/gold with a white head. Smells of syrup (sugar, berries). Tastes of berry juice and some sweet malt.

On draught at 69 Taps in Akron. This beer is a mostly clear light reddish-brown color with a medium-thin off-white head that dissipates steadily. Stringy lacing. Sweet berry and malt aroma. Medium-bodied with a tart fruit character balanced by sweet malt and grain flavors. The finish is raspberries and malt and lingers awhile. Overall a pretty good Fruit beer.

In short: A very gross sweet fruity mess.
How: Bottle 22oz. Consumed about one year after purchase
The look: Very dark ruby (near black) topped by a medium beige head with medium retention
In long: Nose is very much like the dark bubblegum that kids like so much (and me too on occasion). Taste is extra-sweet "grapes" bubble gum (purple bubble gum) and concentrated mix-fruits juice (before adding three cans of water). Completely gross and undrinkable. I didn’t expect much but I love Hoppin Frog so I thought I’d give this one a try. This beer sucks more ass than a pervert with an anus-fetish.
