The flavor is is about what I expected. I get some nice banana and clove notes, as well as some wheat. In addition to all of that, I get some orange notes and a little bit of toasted malt. Nice to see a hefeweizen with a little more complexity than the standard offerings.

Bottle. Unclear yellow towards orange with a small quickly disappearing white head. Dominated by estery notes of rasp/strawberry and banana, light grain, hay, dry grass as well. Medium body, oily texture, medium carbonation. Medium sweet with hardly any bitterness. Long estery finish.

A dark yellow beer with a big and blond head. The nose is strongly fruitfull, mandarin, wheat, marshmellows and sweetness. Taste is strongly fruitfull, lots of mandarin, wheat and sourness, some marshmellows, lots of citrusfruity bitterness, that dries the end. Medium bodied, high carbonation, refreshning. Not very typical hefe, but US style, but this is still quite nice. Mandarin and citrusfruits are dominating.

22oz bottle, from Country Fresh. Mildly hazy orange color. Bubbly fizzing white head that soon fades to nothing. No lace. Medium body. Stronger carbonation. Nice light orange-citrus aroma. More spice flavor than typical for a wheat beer. Much less banana than typical for a hefeweizen. Tangy sweet taste. OK wheat beer, but kind of disappointing. Not as easy to drink as I expected it to be.
