Is an award-winning, traditional, all-natural style of beer that falls under the category of a "West Coast" India Pale Ale (IPA). Characterized by its high hop content, high alcohol content and deep amber color, Hoppy Faceô is brewed using water with a high mineral content. Using only the finest 2-row malted barley and great northwestern grown hops, this combination results in a clean, crisp, well-balanced beer. As usual, no artificial preservatives have been added to our beer during and/or after the brewing process.

Pours a finger and half of head on a clear dark straw body. The aroma is a lot of pine resin. The taste starts with mild lemon bitterness, then middle to end is a big pine resin bitter. Not my favorite flavor. The texture is crisp. It has an intense resin smell and flavor which is great if you like that.

"more like a hoppy amber than a west coast ipa...as an ipa, itís a bit melow. as an amber, itís fairly aggressive, if not great. an enjoyable beer. refreshing

On tap at the brewery. Pours orangey copper with an off white head. Aroma is sweet and malty. They describe this beer as their hoppiest but itís not. Thereís a little citrus in the aroma and a little bitterness in the flavor, but this is just a chewy sweet malty amber/red thing.

Hazy, amber with a rocky, white head. The aroma has caramel, mild pine, wheat, and faint butterscotch. It has a light, thin body with lively carbonation. The taste is a little bland with a bitter finish that fades quickly.

22 ounce bottle, poured an amber color with aromas of caramel, toast, bread, and light hops. Flavors were the same, not much hops in the flavor, ok overall.

On tap @ Hoppy Brewing. Amber pour with a white head. Caramel, bread, and toasted malt aromas. Some orange peel, pine, and herbal hop notes. A bit grassy, too. The flavor is all grass, herbs, pine, and sweet malt. Minimal citrus, some bitterness, and a fairly sweet malt character overall.

22oz bottle, from Jungle Jimís in Eastgate. Half hazy amber color. Thin khaki off-white head. Couple dots of lace. Caramel, toasty malt profile. Lightly spicy. Some spicy, citrusy hop. Medium plus body. Smooth, crisp lighter carbonation. Dry finoish. Moderate bitter taste, minimal sweet. Solid hoppy amber, though kind of spicy, and very dry in the finish.

22 oz. bottle shared by DrSilverworm. Pours an amber color with a medium sized off white head. The aroma and flavor have mild hop character, caramel, earth, light citrus. Overall, pretty unspectacular but we had to start somewhere.
