argo0 (6231), Washington DC, USA Nov 30, 2004 Amber body hazed by some particulate, medium beige head that does not retain well. Aroma is medium sweet, peach, caramel, some grapefruit, light earthy. Taste is medium sweet, caramel, grapefruit, light peach, faint mint. Light-medium body, quite drinkable. hopdog (4654), Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA Nov 6, 2005 22 oz bottle acquired in trade with DarkElf (thanks!). Opened to a loud PSST and poured with a huge, huge head. Poured a medium and cloudy amber color with an off white head. Aromas of caramel, oranges, flowers, and citrus. Tastes of caramel, grapefruit, citrus and light pine. Nice an hoppy for an Amber ale. acrdz (4386), Boulder, Colorado, USA May 17, 2008 Draft sample pours clear amber, darker than it should be but I guess they call it amber because of color, even though the hop bill and bitterness makes this an IPA. The nose is wet and oily c-note hops, and the flavor is wet, oily and twangy hop oil extract, but the body is disappointingly thin and bland, which kind of kills the whole experience. Ernest (4254), Boulder, Colorado, USA May 3, 2005 Draught, Falling Rock.
Body is light amber.
Aroma is moderately malty (cookie, caramel), moderately hoppy (flowers, orange), trace yeast (dough).
Flavor is moderately sweet, lightly acidic, lightly bitter.
Finish is lightly sweet, lightly acidic, moderately bitter.
Medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation.
Pleasant pale ale with a nice juicy malt component.
