COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Is a unique, all-natural style of beer that currently falls under the category of a Specialty Ale. In other words, there is no true category for this beer... Characterized by its distinctive Mount Hood hop aroma and beautiful blonde color, Liquid Sunshine™ is brewed at a low temperature to create a nice lite dry finish. Using only the finest 2-row malted barley, wheat, rye, and great northwestern grown hops, this combination results in a clean, crisp, and uniquely refreshing beer.

Almost a decade ago, this beer was available in DC (at least at the Brickskeller), and I remember liking it, so I was delighted to come across it again, to see where my perceptions have taken me. Lightly hazed straw body topped by big white head. Aroma is medium sweet, lemon, grassy, grapefruit, light rye. Taste is mild sweet, grapefruit, grassy, some lemon tartness. Medium body, fairly dry finish. Quite bitter for the style, and fairly unbalanced. Still, as often is the case, sometimes that is a good thing.

Bomber. Light clean aroma, but not too exciting. Perhaps a light citrus, perhaps a bit floral. Slightly hazy light gold color with a significant white head that laces a little. Nice fruity start with a firm carbonation. The fruit is followed by some light malt, which fades so that the finish is lightly, fruitly bitter. Very pleasant. As time goes on the bitter in the finish seems to enhance.
