COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Hoppys gift to those you like their beers malty. Dark Caramel and chocolate malts lend their deep crimson silkiness, and judicious additions of Nugget and Cascade hops give just enough bitterness for balance.

A pretty solid red ale. Sweet and pretty full bodied. Lots of caramel, some toast and bread. Not much lingers in the aftertaste. Tried with Jess at the Nebraska Beerfest in 2016.

"Good blend of malts and hops here. aromatic, dark (for the style), and flavorful. I wasn’t expecting much from this brewery after dumping their holiday ale, so this was a very pleasant surprise. 1/09-had an off aroma...maybe the glass they served in. i’ll wait to have another off one to downgrade...or not.
