Draft at the brewpub. Pours amber with a white head. Mild bready/caramel aroma. Flavor same with some light floral hop. Arguably finishes towards ESB

~Biscuity malt aroma, some spicy hops, not much else. ~Pours clear amberish gold with small off white head that disappears. ~Taste is similar to fat tire, biscuity, spicy hops that are more pronounced in flavor than in nose. ~Med body, med CO2, some funky astringent dryness. very dry. Not enjoyable for a pale ale. ~Drinkable pale ale, a bit boring. Well rounded. Average. ~

Half-pint sampled at the brewpub. Listed as "Tyson’s Twisted Pale Ale", 5.4%. Spicy, metallic, light piney hoppy aromas are detected. Rather faint, unfortunately. Transparent dark-gold/light copper body with a small, off-white head. Very metallic hoppiness to start, which becomes lightly cereal-like. A bit grainy. Astringency follows. Finishes with a dry, grapefruity bitter hoppiness. Tons of hops in this. Light-bodied, poorly balanced. This just isn’t working for me at all.
