3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Can. It’s a clear golden colored beer with a dense, light beige colored head. Citrus peel, pinecones and a little malty touch on the nose. The flavor is equally straight forward and un-challenging, but still nice. Some malty flavors in the back, mostly pale malts, and lots of hops up front, with a nice bitterness level. Full body, pleasant carbonation. Lasting finish. This is the kind of pale ale I like. 149512

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
D &Q Mini Mart, Houston can: Pours golden with white head. Aroma is pretty impressive. It is a whole bouquet of citrus and flowers. Taste is slightly bitter, but not too much so. Generally well-blanaced. Not much sweetness. Medium-light bodied. Pretty tasty. One of the better Texas beers that I have had so far.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Golden body, stable frothy head. Mix of modern and classic hops, more floral and fragrant. Very drinkable, bitter yet not sharp. Very decent pale ale modern style, nice light alcohol warmth. (On tap at Craft Pride)

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Solid Pale Ale. More hop forward than your traditional Pale. Has a lovely aroma, very slight bitterness. Very drinkable.

3.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Clear golden with a thick foamy white head. The aroma is incredible with big fresh hop notes of floral cones and light grapefruit/grassy resin. Smells like picking hops on a farm. The flavor is a bit too pale and clean for its own good, featuring only minimal bitterness and minimal grassy and citrus rind tones, on a medium-light pale malt body. Actually finishes a little more piney and bitter.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
This is a better than average pale ale. Not particularly balanced, but its hop heavy, slightly astringent profile is decent.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Location: 12 oz cans from Central Market, 9/9/13
Aroma: The nose is light grassy hops, some grains, crystal malts, and herbal notes
Appearance: It pours an unclear gold-orange color with a frothy white heads and sticky lacing
Flavor: The hops come through more in the flavor, it is lightly sweet and medium bitter
Palate: The body is light-medium, with a nice, clean feel, soft carbonation, and a dry finish
I thought this was a pretty solid APA. It isn’t a standout in the style, but it is quite quaffable. This is a perfectly acceptable canned offering.
