On tap at Hops Golden Colorado poured a clear gold with a small lingering white head. Aromas of white bread with a hint of spicy hops. Palate was light bodied and smooth. Flavors of white bread with light spicy hops and a smooth finish.

Yellow pour with a non-retentive head and wash lace. Faint aromas, indistinct. Lightly bodied and thoroughly carbonated, grainy malts with a touch of corn to the tongue. Boring trend starting to form here.

Tasting at All Colorado Beer Festival. Light yellow, no head. Aroma is lightly skunky, odd, and of light spiced bread. Flavor is light malts with some odd hop balance.

Hops Restaurant and Brewery Richmond Va. Sampler at brewery. Slight pale mild malt aroma. Clear golden with frothy white head. Flavor of pale malts with some graininess especially in the finish. Light body and mouthfeel. Finish has moderate hop bitterness.

Light bronze colour. Vague aroma is slightly grassy. Solventy phenols and vague grains. Quick, watery finish.

Draught, Hops Miami. Very pale golden color. Tastes similar to other hops beers (like water) but with slightly more body and at least a hint that grain and hop was actually used in the brewing process. Nothing bold about it whatsoever.

Much smoother compared to other American or Golden lagers. It does have a bit more body and a sweeter taste than your regular lager. I enjoyed this one for what it is. You can pretty much drink it anytime, it’s not spectacular, but a decent choice.
