The name prompted me to try this one. However, it lacked in flavor and aroma for me. Light yellow look with little head, this beer was mediocre, they have done better.

Oct 6, 2008 Hops Restaurant and Brewery Richmond Va. Sampler at brewery. Slight pale mild malt aroma. Clear golden with frothy white head. Flavor of pale malts with some graininess especially in the finish. Light body and mouthfeel. Finish has moderate hop bitterness.

Jun 21, 2008 On tap at the Newington, CT. brewpub. Clear pale gold with a thin white head. Sweeter and with less flavor than their Light beer. No nose to speak of. Whatever.

Jun 10, 2008 Light bronze colour. Vague aroma is slightly grassy. Solventy phenols and vague grains. Quick, watery finish.

May 10, 2008 Draught, Hops Miami. Very pale golden color. Tastes similar to other hops beers (like water) but with slightly more body and at least a hint that grain and hop was actually used in the brewing process. Nothing bold about it whatsoever.

Apr 11, 2008 Much smoother compared to other American or Golden lagers. It does have a bit more body and a sweeter taste than your regular lager. I enjoyed this one for what it is. You can pretty much drink it anytime, it’s not spectacular, but a decent choice.
