BREWMUSKCLES (844), WEEHAWKEN, New Jersey, USA Jan 24, 2008 get yourself down to the hops in altamonte springs and try a really great florida (usa) winter pale ale. the aroma of fresh pine flowers and needles will fortell you’re inevitable appreciation. don’t know how else to correctly express it -i was shocked to shit! - hop character out of my dreams. nice malt backing - that is to say backed off- still a very little sweet. refreshing moderately substantial and so fresh it never backed off its character as i watched it sit in a glass for over 30 minutes. hey sometimes you get the best. warning if you do not have to do not miss it.

Draft... Clear golden ale with a mid-sized, creamy, white head. Good retention and nice lacework. As I tip my glass for the first time, a big-time, invigorating blast of PNW hops hits my nose. A fairly solid, pale malt backbone mingles well with a generous dose of piney and grapefruity hop bitterness. Medium-bodied with moderate carbonation. Crisp finish with a citric and earthy hop bite. Surprisingly solid APA that I could sit and drink all day!
