COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Bottle conditioned; Regular. Also available in cask at 5.6% as a Winter seasonal.
This is an unpasteurised, unfiltered classic Bohemian Style Lager. It is gold in colour and has a floral aroma from the use of Czech Saaz hops. The taste is a balance between rich malt and hop bitterness which is characteristic of the style.

Bottled 15/03/14. An orange gold coloured beer with no head. A spritzy and floral lager. Nice lasting citrussy hop in the mouth. Not really a svelty even if there is Saaz in this. Tasty and endearing. Spritzy.

500ml bottle. Slightly hazy amber with a medium white head. Aroma carries more hops than expected. Flavour is unexpectedly malty, a good amount of grain, honey and some floral notes. A good robust bitter finish. An odd one, this, but pretty good

Bottled@my birthdaybash@Chriso. Golden colour, small white head. Aroma is fruity, bready malts, some wood and mild toasted notes. Flavour is fruits, wood, bready malts, some slight earthy and herbal notes as well. Also mild nectary sweetness. Good beer, but not sure what it’s got in common with bohemian lagers.

Bottled at oh6gdx’s birthday bash at chriso’s. Cloudy deep golden, faint head. Fruit ysoapy nose. Mid sweet with medium body and rounded mouthfeel. Soapy and minerally with honey and vegetables. Low bitterness. Fairly dull, and not all reminiscent of a Czech pilsener.

Bottle at Pat’s birthday chriso tasting, London. Pours clear, yellow-gold with a medium, white head. Dry grain and straw aroma. Medium sweet flavor, something oddly ’fishy’ in this. Lightly bitter. Light to medium bodied with fine carbonation. Dryish finish, light toasted hay. OK.

UPDATED: APR 26, 2014 Bottle at Pat’s birthday tasting at Chriso’s. Pale yellow colour. Nose is sourish, strange rubber smell, but taste is nice. Grassy, straw, flavoursome lager, but still a bit of that rubberiness in the aftertaste. Re-rate - bottle at home. Hazy golden lager, white foam head. Aroma is bitter hops, grain husk and some yeast sourness. Light Grady and straw. Taste is a nice sour and bitter lager with some grassy and grain malt character. 3.3
