Cask conditioned at Merton Winter Beer Fest ’11 with Fin & Hughie. Gold with white head. Dry and bitter, but with a dryish, fruity, slightly plasticy note, I also noted ash at the time. There is a honeyed note with it too. The hop is well represented in the close. it’s fine.

Cask (GBBF2011, Wed)
Very pungent fruity hops. Simple body, lots of light grains. Some wooly bitterness build up and leaves a tingly finish. Decent golden ale.

Cask conditioned - handpump - Queen Victoria, Leicester. A golden coloured beer with orange fruity notes in the nose. More hops in the mouth, presumably some cascades in here. Citrus flavours are good.

Cask, gravity at Merton Winter Beer Festival, 04.02.11 Pours gold with a bubbly white head some sweet fruitiness initially but the expected hops and bitterness never really came through for me, yes there were some light citrus touches but I mentioned to Glen that I found a slight plasticy flavour and note that he found this too. Its not unlikeable but it seems to be a beer that some get on with much more than others do. A6 A4 T6 P3 Ov12 3.1
