Bottled@my birthdaybash@Chriso. Yellowish golden colour with a small white head. Aroma is sweet malts, nice hoppyness along with some nectar and mild toffee. Flavour is quite similar, but a bit more fruity and floral than the aroma was.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 Leighton (6963) - London, ENGLAND - DEC 8, 2011
Bottle at Pat’s chriso birthday tasting. Pours hazy gold with a fine, white head. Dough on the nose, some light toasted hay. Lightly sweet flavor, some hay. Light bodied with average carbonation. Kind of fizzy, too. Lightly sweet finish, somewhat bland. OK drinking, but not exciting at all.
2.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20 EdKing (1302) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - DEC 3, 2011
Bottle at Pat’s birthday tasting at Chriso’s. Cloudy yellow colour with white head. Nose is sourish citric, sherberty. Taste is quite tart citric, lemon and a bit of that burnt rubber that had in the Hopshackle Bohemian lager.
3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 harrisoni (10911) - Ashford, Kent, ENGLAND - DEC 3, 2011
Bottle at Chriso Patriks Bday tasting. Hazy pale gold. Hey that has some spice to it. But its a soft decent golden beer. Better than average
2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20 hughie (3994) - Bedford, Bedfordshire, ENGLAND - OCT 6, 2011
I would be surprised if this was not the beer described as ’Hopshackle AKA’ that I drank at the 34th Bedford Real Ale and Cider Festival ’11. Cask, gravity. Gold with a lively white head. Soapy citric aroma. Some sweetness in the taste and a sharp grapefruit tang and long bitter finish. Nothing special to be honest.
3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 Bullit (3504) - Utrecht, NETHERLANDS - JUL 14, 2011
Bottle from Beers of Europe. Slightly hazy golden colour, off-white head. This one is actually a bit disappointing. A standard golden ale. Nose is a bit grainy and citrus. Flavour is well malted, bit of citric hops followed by some biscuit. Slightly bitter and dry finish.
