Bottle. Bronze and left no lacing. Ginger beer like spiceness which is quite sharp. Coupled with the presence of hops this makes for a slightly different and pleasnt beer.

Bottle 50 cl. Courtesy of madmitch76. Pours a clear dark amber with a dense off-white and lacing head. Very spicy aroma - pine and ginger. Medium body, somewhat caramellish and a very ashy, bitter finish that doesn’t seem to derive from hops. Almost astringently bitter, herbal. 130711

[Bottle from brewers own stand at the Chilterns Festival of Food, Great Missenden] Chestnut colour with a beige head. Despite being bottled, this actually had the mouthfeel of a good cask-conditioned ale, so well done on that. Good rich, smokey malt, a hint of ginger and earthy bitterness in the dry finish. Excellent stuff.
