Bottle from Rehills, Newcastle. This is an orange coloured beer that pours without any head. It has a sweet lemon and toffee flavour, biscuit notes with a slight woody finish.

Bottled, 500ml from Beers of Europe, Norfolk. Reddish amber with off white head. Quite a nicely balanced bitter for a bottle conditioned beer, reasonably light and dry, perhaps an apricot fruitiness but not too much. Biscuity malts with a leafy bitterness. Good.

500ml bottle from Beers of Europe. A large & dense, lasting, creamy beige head on top of a deep, ruby coloured body on the pour. Mid fruits, roasted, toasted malts & yeast aromas. Fruity & yeasty, lightly roasty & tangy flavour profile. Light to medium body, medium carbonation with a short to medium length, soft bitterness.

Bottle at cgarvieuk’s. Cloudy darkish yellow in colour, like infected piss (injoke). Aroma has gooseberry, Belgian yeasty and inorganic, almost rubbery notes. Tate is decent and nice, but not too special. Caramel, lemon but with some mustiness too. A bit thin as well. About as ’meh’ as Godfather 3 - not actually bad but nothing particularly special either.

Shared bottle at cgarvieuk’s. Opaque, murky yellow/brown with a rubbery, earthy nose. Some sort of wet cardboard taste and some lemony salty stuff. Bit thin, meh.

Bottle at Craig’s. A cloudy dark straw colour with a thin white head. Rubber and tar aroma with some musty horseblanket. Foamy, thin mouth-feel. Flavours of caramel and musty wet cardboard. Some lemony sourness and saison-type yeast. Salty finish. Interesting.

Aroma is sweet fruity spicy yeast. Flavour is more like a Belgian. Some spices with caramel and honey. Has a nice finish, very drinkable
