Hazy amber color. Very nice aroma of fruity hops. Good caramel flavor, malt, quite dry in the beginning; strong bitterness with some bitter orange fruitiness. Very good.

Golden-amber. Earthy, caramellly with lots of earthy, piney hops. Earthy and piney on the palate as well. Slightly strong-tasting (boozy) winter ale, but for the most part has nice balanced and is quite clean.

Bomber from Malt & Vine. Pours copper with a foamy off-white head. Strong hoppy aroma - but it’s like crushed cactus or something. Med body. There’s malt, and then there is "complex floral, spicy and citrus hoppiness ". Sort of twists my mouth around. Bomb it is. You could probably use this for industrial cleaner. Wowser!!!

Tap at Hopworks Bike Bar, Portland - 07/11/12. Clear mid amber with a thin off white head that clears to the edges. Pale malt nose, light pine, some hops. Tastes of caramel malt, pine, hops, light grapefruit tones. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, bitter finish. Above average, drinkable but nothing special.

Can. Love the art work! Poured an amber color with a small sized off white head. Toasted grains, floral, citrus, and a lighter caramel.

UPDATED: FEB 9, 2011 Thanks to Homerwantsbeer for sharing a bottle. Pours a clear dark copper color with a medium off-white head that dissipates steadily. Stringy lacing on the glass. Aroma of floral hops, fruit and malt. Medium body with an evenly balanced hops and malt profile. Floral and piney notes. The finish is fruity with a lingering fresh hops aftertaste. Pretty good overall.

Draft @ Green Dragon. Clear medium dark amber. Stenchy sweaty nose of oily and biscuity pils malt and some dense burnt pear scented hops. Similar flavor, oily, moderately thick, some charred pear, some caramel, some sweaty hop cones. Medium bitterness. Not bad.

My Bottom Line:
Orange peel and minty basil notes spice up this Winter Warmer’s resinous hop presence, sculpting a refreshing, slick pint.

Further Personal Perceptions:
-A veil of foam covers the misty dull amber.
-Alcohol is well concealed in the flavor profile.
-This is very well-brewed, but it is not a compelling recipe to me.
-Malts offer a little caramel sweetness here and there.
-The prickly carbonation was a bit overdone.

On tap at Alibi Room.
