Brewed with 195 pounds of Amarillo, Cascade and Centennial hops, this hopped-out beast had hops added at every point; mash tun, first wort, kettle, and dry hop. Huge spicy and citrus hop aroma, flavor and deep bitterness with an alcoholic bites. I see it in your eyes, take one drink and die, the only thing you see, you know it’s gonna be, The Ace Of Spades! 9.2% ABV 21.5 Deg Plato 100+ IBU

Bottled. An unclear dark golden beer with a thin white head. The aroma has notes fruits, malt, and spices. The flavor is sweet with notes of fruits, straw, alcohol, malt, and a bit of alcohol, leading to a dry bitter finish. The alcohol burns slightly on the the tongue. Thanks fiulijn for sharing.

Bottle 65 cl. Courtesy of fiulijn. Pours a cloudy deep golden with an off-white head. Fresh citrusy and piney hop aroma. Medium body, a little sweet caramel and fruit with massive herbal hop accents - almost medicinal. Very hoppy finish. Loads of hops here, but they don’t come out all that pleasant. 080411

Bottle from Firefly, Vancouver
Cloudy orange-amber color; small head. The aroma is nice because it’s not only hoppy, fruity, but also very sweaty, and fresh; grapefruit; very light tones of countryside, cereals, manure. Good body strength, toffee flavor, quite sweet but still with the mouthfeel agile (I prefer this than thick Double IPAs); prepotent hopping, with a balanced mix of fruity and resiny character. Luckily this is fresh, and really excellent.

Draft at BikeBar. Beautiful aroma of freshly cut grass and mimosa trees. Taste of grass and citrus. My favorite at the pub.

Bomber from Malt & Vine. Pours slightly hazy copper with a big foamy beige head. Nice cat pee aroma. Full bodied with creamy carbonation. The flavor is incredibly hoppy. The malt is smooth and subdued. Lots of citrus. There seem to be hot bits. The finish is really hoppy. It’s not harshly bitter, but it’s really hoppy. Bitter. Very good stuff.
