Pours a clear copper color with a medium white head. A big nose of resinous fruit. The flavor is similar with candied fruit, oranges, some light fusel alcohol. Smooth though overall. A nice IIPA

Poured from an oversize bottle. Pours reddish-amber with an off-white head. Aroma is hoppy with notes of apricot and honeysuckle. Flavour is hops, grapefruit, pine resin, balanced by honey and sweet malts. Awesome smooth easy drinking IPA.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Amazing IPA. Huge blast of hops in the aroma and flavour. Tons of citrus and hops. Well balanced and the abv really backs it up well.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bomber to snifter (shared with the Mrs; thanks DuffMan). Bottle indicates it is 8.6%. Looks solid; malty though. A fairly transparent burnt orange with foamy eggshell head. Smells of fruity, piney, and bitter hops with a full-bodied bittersweet backbone. Tastes like it smells with a full but smooth mouthfeel. Abv is nicely subdued. Enjoyable.

Slight haze, fresh blackberry, floral nose, sweetish and then a little alcohol and bitterness come in late.

5 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 20/20
22 oz bottle from New Seasons Market in Hillsboro, OR. This huge NW IPA has a very strong resinous and citrus hop profile with enough malt to balance it out perfectly. The mouthfeel is gloriously strong, smooth, and bitter. The taste is sweet and bitter throughout with a pleasant bitterness in the finish and aftertaste. The alcohol is masked amazingly well too. This is definitely my favorite Hopworks beer, and for me, it rings in as one of the best Imperial IPAs out there!

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Tap at Hopworks BikeBar. Solid caramel nose, with big fruity hopping. Bright amber color. Thick sweet caramel, rotten dates, sweet, juicy wine-like raisins, light hop tracks in finish. Medium-heavy body. Very tasty. The hopping is clear and present (bit 100+ IBU, really?).
