Slight biscuit malty nose, some lemon. Hazy amber, brown hues, thick creamy off white head. Chewy biscuity malt characteristics continue, balanced by perfumey floral hops flavor and bitterness, delicate flavors. Solid carbonation, rich body, alcohol is impossible to detect. All around nice beer, extremely delicate flavors, yet a pretty big beer. Very well done.

Velvety smooth, orange copper ale with small creamy head, thick lacing. Light malty aroma leads into smooth biscuity flavor with hops on the backplane. Overall alcohol warmth minus the burn.

Pours a very pretty ruby red, clear, good head. Medium caramel malt aroma hits you first, sweet toffee like aromas, there’s a citrus hop background, but not too overpowering or up front. Sweetness is kept in check, well-balanced with the bitterness which is smooth. A very enjoyable double-ale.

22oz bomber. Bitter amber ale, west-coasty. Clear beer, no lacing, goes down to a collar. Hop aroma is a good basic hoppy aroma, something stanky in there, though. Taste is mostly fresh, hoppy, with not much complexity; good, nonetheless. Pretty good, I’d like to try it on tap.

Tap at Hopworks BikeBar. Gentle caramel nose, with some fruit punch. Copper color Light sweet caramel initial, a touch of spice, nice fizzy fruity tang in final. Some alcohol warmth. Thin-medium body. Works out nicely, if a bit sweet.

On tap at the brewpub - Pours golden copper with a beige head. The aroma has thick american strong bready maltiness, caramel, toasty malt and some earthy hoppy bitternesss. It has a full rich smooth body with light carbonation. The flavor begins with bread, caramel, toffee and English yeast. The finish is biscuity and show some alcohol. Good for the style.

D.O.A. by H.U.B. It’s not dead on arrival, but Deluxe Organic Ale. It’s an American Pale Ale with a typical flavor. Nice and strong, tasted fine.

On tap. A: Dark caramel color. Thin head. Modest lacing. N: Pineapple, caramel, toffee, malt, esters. Cracker. T: Sweet and a little savory. Bitterness is restrained. M: Medium heavy. A bit oily. No alcohol presence. O: I had this years ago, and I wasn’t impressed. They’ve made it a superior beer - good for those who enjoy Arrogant Bastard.
