COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our Galactic Imperial Red boldly goes where no Red has gone before. We gave it all the Centennial and Cascade hops we’ve got to bring the floral and citrus flavor and aroma to Warp 5. With a rich caramel malt structure strong enough to withstand any blackhole and a warming finish that can stave off the cold of space, one sip and you’ll be calling it Number One.

A tangy and a grassy aroma accompanies this burnt sienna liquid, cutting through the thick, soft, off-white head. There is a touch of citrus, but not as much as I have noticed in other comments. The grassy, earthiness in the aroma slices through the hops and a toasty biscuit flavor surrounds my tongue with such a balance! I love this Imperial Red. A medium, creamy body glazes my mouth and coats it with a mildly malty bitterness that’s sure to impress. Enjoying this and will be happy to give it a thumbs-up!

(22oz bottle) Pours a clear orange body with a medium cream head. Aroma of caramel, bread, cherry, raisins, toffee, and honey. Flavor of caramel, toffee, grass, pine, and citrus with a dry, bitter finish.

On tap at the brewpub - Pours copper with a beige head. The aroma has pine, grapefruit, tropical fruits and solid toasted malt backbone (it’s really heavy on the pineapple aroma). It has a full body that is still a touch crisp and has soft carbonation. The flavor starts off with sweet caramel malt, pineapple, mango and passion fruit. The finish is big on hops and even bigger on the malt. This comes across as a big beer and delivers well.

Malty, citrusy and quite hoppy imperial red ale with some sweet pine and resinous notes. Pretty good.

On tap at ABV taproom. Awesome beer. Pours a clear copper color with a medium white head. A big fruity caramel nose. The flavor is toasted malts, oranges, super sweet malts, fresh fruity hops, some robust bitterness. Pine lingering with some resin. Big and lovely.

From bottle. Deep copper and amber in color, bubbly with a quarter-inch layer of thick head. Aroma is tropical citrus, pine resin, and caramel malt. Taste is an explosion of citrus (both tart grapefruit and sweet orange), passionfruit, pine, and a pronounced malted sweetness. A hop bomb that stays well-balanced with the malting. Citrus flavors linger long after, and hides the alcohol content well.

Bottle - pours dark copper with thick foamy head. Nose of hop and pine. Oily mouthfeel. Initial intense taste of hop followed by sweet syrupy malt. Ends bitter with lingering hoppy finish. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours copper with a large, lasting head. Nose shows floral and piny hops along with resinous notes. Some sweet clean malt underneath. Minty, spicy, herbal and resinous hops as flavours. Also booze and sweet bready malt followed by an aggressive bitterness that doesn’t quite match the malt. Syrupy body. Could be a little lighter perhaps.
