4.1 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 14/20
From bottle. Deep copper and amber in color, bubbly with a quarter-inch layer of thick head. Aroma is tropical citrus, pine resin, and caramel malt. Taste is an explosion of citrus (both tart grapefruit and sweet orange), passionfruit, pine, and a pronounced malted sweetness. A hop bomb that stays well-balanced with the malting. Citrus flavors linger long after, and hides the alcohol content well.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pours copper with a large, lasting head.
Nose shows floral and piny hops along with resinous notes. Some sweet clean malt underneath.
Minty, spicy, herbal and resinous hops as flavours. Also booze and sweet bready malt followed by an aggressive bitterness that doesn’t quite match the malt.
Syrupy body. Could be a little lighter perhaps.

4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Caramel and toasted tones are inviting, but I find the aroma overall a bit off putting, perhaps an earthiness not quite right. Color is gorgeous, the palate average, and overall a bit lacking. Want to love this beer, especially with the packaging, appearance, and alcohol content.

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
It tastes of pine like and citrusy malts. There is a nice roasted and dry malt flavor to the beer. I like this Imperial red a lot because the malts they use are mostly dry not sweet though there is a mild toffee flavor as well. The beer ends with a nice bitterness to it. Overall a great hoppy imperial red ale that has a nice malt flavor and a nice hoppy flavor. I really enjoy this beer.

Orange pour with a white head. The aroma is full of pine, grass and dirt. The flavor is similar with a lot of red malt, grass, toffee and pine. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Murky dark amber body with a generous off-white head.
Aroma of sweet malt with a touch of hops.
The flavor is bitter, a bit coarse;reminiscent of Arrogant Bastard.
Not my kind of beer.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bomber from trade with michaelinwa. Pours red with a nice foamy head that fades normally and leaves some nice lacing. Big caramel malt aroma with a hefty amount of floral hops too. Taste has a nice moderate sweet/bitter balance. Lots of flowers, a hint of citrus, and lots of caramel. Finish has a touch of alcohol heat which grows as the beer warms. Best to drink this cold and very fast. Pretty solid beer and I love the label.
