On tap at the brewpub. Pours a clear golden color with a medium white head. A big malty, sweaty nose. Light biscuit, honey, some grain. Easy and clean.

Dark yellow pour, fading head with lacing left over. Aroma of hops and some malts. Clean and fresh, with a crisp bitter sweet taste. A very drinkable beer. Little bit of hops in the burp... great Czech example. Beauty!! thanks Lagerboy.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
473 ml can. Chill hazed lager yellow, decent foamy white head slowly settles and mostly fades. Sweet malt leafy hop aroma. Bready sweet pils malt, herbal earthy hop taste, some citrus and spice. Average carbonation, lighter bodied, adequately hopped. Solid from the start to the lightly bitter finish, a mighty fine pilsener. LF (Lagerboy Friendly)

On Tap at Zach’s house. Once there was this beer who got into a keg and went into my mouth, but when it finally got there, it tasted pretty darn tasty. I couldn’t explain it, it always just tastes good. MMMM, MMMM, MMMM....

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
3/28/13. Sampled during CBC 2013. Golden pour with a small off-white head. Light aroma of bready malts, pils malts, doughy, with light citrus and grassy spice. Light flavor as well, bready, doughy, just enough citrus and grassy hop bite. Not bad.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Sampled during VCBW 2013 at the River Rock Casino Resort pouring a slightly hazy golden color with a small white head that leaves no lacing behind. Aroma is fresh citrus and pine hops with some cereal grains. Taste is a modest pine and citrus hop bitterness balanced nicely with a grainy malt sweetness. Light body with mild carbonation. A well done pilsener that is definitely worth checking out.

Draft at the brewpub years ago. Light, but tasty, good rep of style. Haven’t seen since.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Produces up with what seems like a bad case of chill haze. A shrouded sunny medium gold with a frothy and loose white head of foam. Pineneedles and roughly bruised, bitter green herbs dominate the nose with underlying wafts of lychee, pear and lavender. On the palate it is assertively hopped but balanced by a wonderfully dry pilsner malt graininess and toastiness from that Carahell. Light in body with moderate carbonation that sees it move with haste across the tongue. Big bitter peak, raspy and herbaceous on the swallow leaving a lasting dryness of grain and hop. Long camphorous, nettle and pineneedle linger, quite spicy and raw. Very refreshing stuff. I loved this one. Drinks well even as it warms and showcases the wonderful Saaz hop with artistinal brilliance. A solid Pilsner! (47,3cL can, date indistinguishable on base, Cellarbrations Carlisle)
